Ideawise · A venture builder
We got bored of building
one company at a time.
So we built a grid: culture, capital, shared services, and an agentic growth OS. Now we build companies on top of it. Each one makes the grid stronger. The grid makes the next one faster. It isn't finished. It never will be. That's the design.
Funds diversify.
We commit.
We co-found, staff, and operate our companies, and we carry the risk ourselves. No checks-and-hope, no coaching from the sidelines. When a venture wins, we built it. When one dies, we buried it ourselves.
We build where it's uncomfortable: intimacy, attention, community. The parts of human experience everyone lives in and polite money avoids. Built well, they compound. Left to whoever shows up, they rot.
Autonomy isn't a perk here. It's the architecture. Every venture: own brand, own operator, own P&L. The grid gives leverage, never orders.
Every venture leaves the grid stronger than it found it: capabilities, playbooks, patterns. Day one hundred beats day one. The moment that stops being true, we've built just another holding company. We'd rather not.
Freedom,
held to five virtues.
Freedom is the founding value. Everything else exists to keep it from becoming chaos. The five virtues are how. Yes, they sound soft. Try operating them under pressure.
No software for software's sake. No passive checks. No trends. No founders who haven't operated. No deck where a demo will do.
And no hiding. Two of our ventures run in adult industries, with more compliance rigor than most banks run anything. If that makes you flinch, good. The filter is working.
We're also building a village.
An actual one.
Most of our work ships as software. This one has topsoil. Happiness Village is a regenerative eco-village: 146 dome homes on shared land, with real governance instead of commune clichés. Internally it just goes by das Dorf.
It's in phase zero: land, legal structure, funding. It will take years. Good. Some things should.
The thesis is the same as everything above. Take something everyone needs, somewhere to belong, and build it properly instead of leaving it to whoever shows up. Community is a frontier. The village is how far we're willing to follow it.
The themes underneath everything we build. If these make you nod, we'll probably get along.
Senior seats.
One system to build.
We hire people who've built this before and are annoyed by how it was done. Multi-startup track record, opinions with evidence, allergic to theater. The roles live on LinkedIn. The bar lives here.
